With the help of a rail inspection trolley, the robotic total station automatically searches and measures CPIII points on both sides of the track, then reversely calculates the coordinates of the rail inspection trolley, and realizes the detection of the entire track through the inertial guidance function of the trolley.

The total station measures the laser target on the shield machine, and the computer calculates the motion attitude of the shield based on spatial measurement. The backsight prism is used as a basis reference for the introduction of absolute ground coordinates to dynamically verify the spatial position of the total station. During the shield boring process, it is necessary to grasp the attitude change data of the shield in time to provide a basis for correction.
